Santa Fe Train Depot San Bernardino

Depot opened July 15 1918. It served the Atchison Topeka, and Sante Fe rail lines.

Mission Revival style architecture.

This is the sitting area inside the bathroom.

There is a small museum inside that is free and open to the public. Cool stuff.

American warbirds.

Thank you to claremontmodernism for scanning and sharing with us this actual photo of these F4U Corsairs. These fighter planes went into service in 1942. Capable of speeds up to 400 mph these were some of the best fighters in WWII. They were also used in the Korean war and accounted for 80% of all ground attack missions  flown by Navy and Marine units combined. Later they were the subject of the T.V. series "Black Sheep Squadron"

Dusting off the ol Red Wings

Early label Irish Setter Boots

Vintage dirt!
Some warm water, a denture brush, some boot oil, and these are as good as new. Even the laces cleaned up well.
